I would advise against it. The prevailing attitude of the site is snarkiness, and there's more than enough of that going around for teenagers without a fresh daily infusion. Additionally, there are all kinds of offensive content there. Also, there's the bizarre culture of "permissiveness through anonymity". I think that young people should learn how to communicate respectfully on the internet first. And that requires the integrity of putting your name on the ideas that you share, and understanding that one's reputation is a valuable resource that you must manage and cultivate.
