There are some great sites which help parents set boundaries and expectations around the safe use of technology at home.

I really like this resource for parents from a US based site called "A Platform for Good". They are perfect for if parents buy children new technology this Christmas and has a set of cards which parents can include with their gift. Just click on the card for the gadget you’ve bought, print it out and write your own house rules in the spaces provided. For each set of rules, parents have to make a set of promises, too which is great for showing that online safety is a shared responsibility. http://www.aplatformforgood.org/pages/holiday-safety-cards

Childnet International also have a parent contact which families can personalise on their Know It All for Parents site which is also a fantastic tool www.childnet.com/kia/parents
