Is Google making an Android videogame console?

The WSJ reckons Google has plans for an Android videogame console alongside the long-suspected smartwatch. Woah?! Will it be a little tinker like the Android-based Ouya (http://quib.ly/qu/what-are-micro-consoles) or a new behemoth? Thoughts and opinions very welcome.

Given the mismanagement of the Nexus Q

Maybe that will be reworked into a console, or maybe Google should stick to what they do best (mining your data for their advertisers)

Well I have spoken to a little bird who has said there is no smoke without fire. Currently there are three android consoles that are there or thereabouts, so when Google do announce their little project, I would expect it to be something to like the Ouja with google play attached or something similar to the apple set top box.
