how does your preschool share photos with you?

I am interested in how preschools get all the great pictures out to families - mine does it through periodic text messages, but others do newsletters, group shutterfly accounts, etc. Wondering how yours does it.

The nursery my children attend and some of the schools we support use electronic photo-frames in cloakrooms and by the entrances to the rooms. They just swap round SD cards.

Google circle of parents...shared only with members of circle. Love getting the pics and having a place online to easily find them...

We only use our pre-school website which allows friends, parents and children to share their school experiences together. We add a bit of code which prevents anyone from downloading the photos form the internet, although we do sometimes print off special requests for parents if they ask.

When my youngest was at pre-school they had a regular emailed newsletter and they also took lots of pictures of the children at play, rather than posed, and stuck these into each child's personal record, which we could see whenever we wanted and was passed on to the school when he started reception class. Ours didn't share through the website or any social media tools.

Kinderloop (www.kinderloop.com) allows for individualized photo updates from teachers to parents - it's secure, you find out only about your own kid, and teachers save a ton of time on reporting, photo-uploading, and the like. They're just entering the UK now . . .
