How do you respect and value silent moments of children ?

In this buzzing age, it's as rare as never before to have time for silence and free thinking. Yet, experience and research shows that it's fundamental for all of us and especially for younger ones to have periods free from stressing activities and devoted to reflection or simply day-dreaming.

This is why I support the teaching of philosophy in primary schools. It's something which no matter how much you wikipedia it still provokes thought and debate.

Something as simple as Socratic method encourages reflection.

As for day dreaming. Look at the clouds man! Take them to hill lay back and watch the clouds.
