Yes, we do. I use it for all three of mine (12, 10 and 5), although it's more suited to the older two. I use it to manage pocket money and to get the kids used to using - and looking after - debit cards. We're clearly heading to a cashless future, and weaning them onto cash only to then get them used to cards when they're older seems silly to me. This way, they can use their pocket money to buy things online (i.e. cheaper) and they have to learn to manage an invisible balance. I think that's an important lesson.
The eldest uses the PktMny website to manage her money and check her balance. My 10-year-old prefers to keep a running tally in his head and we manage the five-year-old's account on his behalf. For him, it's more about not leaving him out! I like being able to give them extra tasks for extra 'bonuses' and for us it works well.

I'm just looking at setting this up at the moment although it doesn't seem to let me set up an account for my son who is almost 7 - they say it's for children aged 8 upwards so perhaps Holly you can tell me how I can set this up to manage it on my son's behalf?
My reasons for looking at using PktMny are that at the moment my son is a regular saver with cash from things like birthdays, Christmas, and occasional pocket money but he is also wanting to buy a few more small things online now and I think it would be good for him to be able to make the connection with the cash that he's 'earning' and the goods he is buying online rather than it just coming out of my account online all the time. I'll let you know how we get on once I've got past the age thing :-)
