Could the tech industry do more to recruit staff with Autism?

Technology company SAP has recently announced plans for an Autistic recruitment drive stating that by 2020 they want 1% (equal to the worldwide proportion of people affected) of its global workforce of 65,000 employees to be Autistic. Given that only around 15% of adults with autism are in full time employment, how do you think tech companies can be encouraged to look more favourably on people with autism?
