Are there any apps to help parents how to tell spooky stories?

Remember those spooky stories from your childhood? Looking back, they weren’t really that scary. What better time than Halloween to pass on the tradition of the spooky story? Are there any apps where I can find some good ol' Halloween stories (with effects if possible) to tell my kids?

Oh I love Halloween and of course there’s a whole host of apps and tech to help.

Haunted house, suitable for ages 6-8, is packed with adorable (yet spooky) interactive stories for kids. Kids can switch on the 'read to me' mode for a full- narration by professional actors (in English, French, German and Spanish) Although if you want to take a break from the regular bed-time stories, why not dip into these? You could even punctuate the tales with some sound effects and creepy illustration. It's available on app store, play store, and even Kindle. (Currently on sale too)

A mum of an autistic son created this Halloween ebook to teach her son new vocabulary and language-based concepts. Kids can personalise this story by uploading their own photos via iPhoto library. This app is available for iPhone and iPad.

It's the great pumpkin, Charlie Brown, (from the comic strip Peanuts) will definitely take you to a nostalgia trip. Hope our kids like it as much too! It has a plenty of fun features as well as an interactive story book (narrated by the original voice of Charlie Brown, Peter Robbins) Kids can dress up the characters, carve a pumpkin and also go for trick-or-treating. It's available on app store and play store too.

Hope this helps! Have a Happy Halloween. :)

How about Scary Campfire Stories? This app is a classic collection of Camp Fire stories to help you tell the scariest (and most memorable) story of all. If you not believe in ghost you should read this stories and decide there will be ghost presented in this world or not. Careful while read this stories. They might be real.

Yesterday I downloaded iHalloween for iPhone. It allows you make scarier stories when you add creepy sound effects and horrifying music to your tales. Scare your friends and your neighbours when you go out trick or treating or annoy your siblings out of bed with a screaming wake up call. The possibilities are endless with its sound collection. Add a little flavor to your jokes this Halloween by intensifying the suspense.
