Ruthine Burton

Gaming Kingston upon Thames, GB
I'm a teacher / lecturer and Video Games Ambassador with Nesta as well as the founder of sprogglers.com, an online educational games world for children. I have an MSc in Software Engineering and a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) and have worked for many years in education and in the games industry. I have a passionate interest in the role of the internet and video / mobile games in the lives of children and young people and in the ethics of the internet and online / mobile games. Many children love using the internet and play video and mobile games. Website and game makers like myself thus have a responsibility to ensure their sites and games are safe and ethical. Even better: educational!
